Ubuntu10.10 no Internet access solution (continued)

I still cannot access the Internet today when I enter Ubuntu. After a long time, I found the following solution.

(1) display the following content in the sudo vi/etc/network/interfaces terminal:

Auto lo
Iface lo inet loopback

(2) edit it as follows:

Auto lo
Iface lo inet loopback
Auto eth0
Iface eth0 inet dhcp

(3) restart the network service on the terminal sudo/etc/init. d/networking restart. The following content is displayed:



The assigned IP address is 192.168.1.114. At this point, the problem that Ubuntu cannot access the Internet should be solved.
