Ubuntu11.10 install Python editor pycharm (including registration code)

Download the tar package: http://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/decompress the package and run bin/pycharm.sh! Check the environment requirements: Systemrequirements512MBRAMminimum, 1GBRAMrecommended1024x768minimumscreenresolutionSun

Download the tar package: extract the http://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/, run bin/pycharm. sh, get it done!

Note:

System requirements

• 512 mb ram minimum, 1 gb ram recommended
• 1024x768 minimum screen resolution
• Sun JDK 1.6.(OpenJDK is not supported)
• GNOME or KDE desktop
• Python 2.4 or higher, Jython, PyPy or IronPython

Instructions

• UnpackPycharm-* .tar.gzFile using the following command:
  Tar xfz pycharm-* .tar.gz
• Run pycharm. sh from the bin subdirectory

Especially jdk requirements, does not support openjdk, how to add sunjdk method: Ubuntu under the OpenJDK into the SunJDK http://www.linuxidc.com/Linux/2012-10/71934.htm

RememberChange JAVA_HOME to sun's jdk path
