ubuntu14.04 Install latex Support Package texlive and editor Texworks

1. To install Texlive from the network:

Download install-tl-unx.tar.gz from http://ftp.ctex.org/mirrors/CTAN/systems/texlive/tlnet/

Run INSTALL-TL after decompression to perform the installation

After the installation is complete, add the following in the ~/.VIMRC file:

Path=/usr/local/texlive/2014/bin/x86-64-linux: $PATH; Export PATH

Restart the terminal for the configuration to take effect

Install GUI support package: sudo apt-get install PERL-TK

You can execute the TLMGR--gui statement to see if the installation was successful. If successful, the following dialog box will be available:

2. Installing Texworks

sudo aptitude install Texworks--without-recommends (the following parameters must be written)
