Enter "sudo apt-get update"--Enter the password for the root user--return;

Enter "sudo apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client"--enter "Y"---enter "root" in MySQL in the "Package Setup dialog box" The user's password--Enter and lose the password again--Enter, the installation is complete.

To see if the installation was successful:

sudo netstat -tap | grep mysql

After checking with the above command, if you see a socket with MySQL in the Listen state, the installation is successful.

Log in to Databasemysql -u root -p 

View MySQL versionmysqladmin -u root -p version

Stop MySQL:sudo service mysql stop 

Start MySQL:sudo service mysql start
