Download eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz from the official website, double-click the compressed package, and click Extract Here to decompress the package. Move to the/opt/directory:

Sudo mv '/usr/lib/jvm/eclipse-installer'/opt

Next,

X @ x-MacBook :~ $ Cd '/opt/eclipse-installer' x @ x-MacBook:/opt/eclipse-installer $ mkdir jrex @ x-MacBook:/opt/eclipse-installer $ cd jre

Click eclipse-inst to install Eclipse. If an error is found, it cannot be installed. The point is that the Environment paths of the installed java are inconsistent. You only need one line of command to complete the installation:

X @ x-MacBook:/opt/eclipse-installer/jre $ sudo ln-s/usr/lib/jvm/jdk1.8.0 _ 151/bin

[Java Runtime Environment (jre) connection jdk path]
