ubuntu18.04 Installing Redis

1. Prerequisites:

System: ubuntu18.04

Software: Redis

Gui:redis Desktop Manager

Description: ubuntu18.04 and win10 in the same LAN, ubuntu18 installing Redis, using clients on WIN10 to connect to the Redis database

2. Installation

installation command:

sudo apt-get install Redis-server

View TCP connections

Netstat-ap | grep 6379

Start:

Service: Redis-server

Client: REDIS-CLI

Modify profile to allow other computers within the LAN to connect to Redis

File location:/etc/redis/redis.conf If you cannot edit or cannot save, modify the permissions first
