After Ubuntu 9.10 is installed, I replace Ubuntu with kUbuntu. Then start to install various software you like. The system is upgraded to 2.6.31-15. One day, start Ubuntu9.10. After skipping the kUbuntu boot screen, the computer will be black. No matter what keyboard you press, there will be no response. If you press the power button, the system will be shut down. There is no reason for analyzing Ubuntu logs in CentOS. I tried it for a long time and couldn't try it out. I was thinking about it.

If you press the power button, the system will be shut down. There is no reason for analyzing Ubuntu logs in CentOS. After trying for a long time, I thought about whether I could remove the boot screen, so that I could see that Ubuntu failed to start at that step, and then I went to locate the problem.
After the GRUB page is displayed, select the Ubuntu option and press e to enter the GRUB editing mode. Remove "ro quiet splash" and press "B" to start Ubuntu. At this time, I looked at the last step and found that I entered the Ubuntu login page.
After entering the system, modify/boot/grub. cfg, remove "ro quiet splash", and restart the computer. At this time, you can enter Ubuntu normally, but you will not be able to see the beautiful startup screen during startup.
