Unboxing conversions for C #

In contrast to a boxing conversion, a unboxing conversion is an explicit conversion of an object type to a value type, or an explicit conversion of an interface type into a value type that executes the interface.

The process of unpacking is divided into two steps: First, examine the object instance to see if it is a boxed value for the given value type. Then, copy the value of this instance to a variable of the value type.

Let's take a look at an object unpacking process.

int i=10;
Object obj=i;
int j= (int) obj;

This process is represented by a diagram:

It can be seen that the unboxing process is exactly the reverse process of the boxing process. It is important to note that the boxing conversion and unboxing conversions must follow the type compatibility principle.
