Uninstalling and installing DB2 express-C 9.7.2 under win7 (on)

Today, I installed the system again. While the system has not been contaminated by me, I would like to try again. Oh, it's a silly smile. It's really unforgettable ~. Therefore, if you are engaged in it, you should not be absolutely sure about the consequences, or do not tamper with the system. However, this installation is different from the previous one. For example, the user db2admin is directly placed in the Administrators group, rather than in the two groups defined by the user, the sample database is automatically installed (I used to manually --!). Moreover, I set Firefox as the default browser this time. The "first" running after installation is opened in ff (previously opened in my own window ), I also changed my ff user configuration. Did I install oracle first? Curiosity is coming again, unload it and try again, God bless me!

If you talk nonsense about it, you will get scolded. If you don't talk about it, you will start to uninstall it.

First, run the uninstall program in the Add/delete operation of the system. The system will prompt that your database files will not be deleted. If the problem fails, it is said that you can try to uninstall the installation file. Sadly, I have been running the installation file all the time. If this is not the case, the anti-virus will not be successful. Clean it up directly.

1. delete an object

I installed it by default. Delete the following directories, and some directories may have been deleted.

C: \ Program Files \ IBM

C: \ programdata \ IBM

C: \ Users \ <Name> \ appdata \ roaming \ IBM

C: \ windows \ system32 \ config \ systemprofile \ Application Data \ IBM

C: \ DB2 (this is my data file directory, which may be different)

C: \ Users \ <Name> \ Documents \ db2log (delete log)

Delete the prod_expc.rsp response file under <my documents>.

Delete the Start Menu.

2. delete an account

Right-click the computer, properties, and advanced settings, click the setting button in the user settings box, and a box pops up. Select the account with db2admin and click Delete.

Right-click the computer, manage, local users and groups, users, and delete the user db2admin.

3. delete system environment variables.

Just use a good registry cleanup software to clean it. You don't have to manually delete it one by one.
