1. Install samba in ubuntu first

 

sudo apt-get install samba

2. After the installation is complete, update the following:

sudo apt-get update

3. then, set a folder to be shared in ubuntu, right-click the folder to view its properties, and select local network sharing, share this directory, allow others to create and delete files in this folder, and allow Anonymous Logon (the last two can be used ).

4. in windows,PingXX. XX. XX. XX (xx is the ubuntu ip address, which must be in the same network segment). Halogen primary windows is not connected because they are not in the same network segment, and then open the windows File window, click the network in the directory column on the left of the window to find the shared folder under ubuntu. 5. in windows, folder sharing is configured. In any file window in ubuntu, click the network on the left of the window ---> browse the network. You can also see the windows user name, but the windows user name cannot be opened, what's missing? No problem. You can upload files now.
