Environment: the host connected to the printer in my office is Windows XP, and its IP address is 172.20.4.114. No access password is set for the printer.

1. How to connect to a shared printer in Windows XP:

Click the Start menu to open the "run" dialog box (or press the shortcut key win + R) and enter "\ 172.20.4.114" (which does not include double quotation marks and the specific IP address is different ), you can view the shared items of the host.
