Use Emacs+plink to edit remote files under Windows

1) Plink.exe belongs to the Putty Kit, registered to the environment variable; the bin directory of Emacs is also registered in the environment variable;

2) Add the following in. Emacs:

(Require ' tramp)
(setq tramp-default-method "Plink"); This eliminates the need to enter/plink after C-x c-f in the Minibuffer of Emacs:
(byte-compile-file "E:/tools/emacs-24.3/lisp/net/tramp-sh.el");; Avoid error: couldn ' t find proper ' ls ' command

3) Open the console and enter Emacs to open the editor (note that if you double-click Emacs.exe the Plink command will not be found), then enter:

C-x c-f/[email protected]_ip:directory

Enter the password to open the remote directory.
