Use NetBeans to get the GitHub project and contribute code to it

1. Register your GitHub account and create a warehouse
The first step to using GitHub is, of course, registering a GitHub account. After that you can create a warehouse (free users can only build public warehouses), create a New Repository, fill in the name after the create.

2 Find an official GitHub address with Yii as an example address is Https://github.com/yiisoft/yii2.git

Click ' Fork ' in the top right

Select a project in NetBeans and click Project Development-Other Vcs-git-clones

Then, in the Resource URL field, fill in the URL to copy GitHub and fill in the GitHub account password to select the destination folder click Done.

After cloning is complete, modify a file and then save

Submit to local first

Click Submit

Then right click on the YII Project Select git-remote-Push in

Click Next

Click Finish

And then you can see what you've changed in the GitHub project.

If you want to push the official Yii click on the Pull Request on the right sidebar, follow the prompts and finish.
