OCRFeeder is a good tool for Chinese recognition in the OCR software I have used in Linux. It is based on tesseract, and the man-machine interface is friendly. Unfortunately, tesseract seems to be slow in development. First install ocrfeeder. The method is very simple. There is version 0.7.11 in the repository. The OCR engine has been greatly improved. After ocrfeeder is installed, the Chinese OCR recognition library is installed. Only the English recognition library is installed. I have installed a simplified Chinese recognition library. There are many optional recognition libraries.
