Main tools: Pen, spray gun, gradient

(i). The first step of production--design of automobile

Car design is a very deep knowledge, not only to apply to aesthetics, but also involved in such as physics, aerodynamics and other disciplines, we are here to steal a lazy, to find a ready-made picture as a model for future work. (ii). Second step of production--drawing of individual parts

1. Select File->new, create a new file with a width of 447, high 234 pixels, background transparent (transparent).

1. Car body is the main body, so we first for the body part coloring to distinguish:
Select the body path in the path panel and click the "Load path as a selection" button to convert the path to a selection. Then we go back to the layer (layers) panel and create a new layer for "body". Set the foreground color to RGB (250,158,158) and press "Alt+del" to fill the selection with the foreground color.

2. Then we select the "Wheel" path in the path panel and click on the "Load path as a selection" button to convert the path to a selection. Now go back to the layer (layers) panel and create a new layer for "wheel". Put the front bar ㄎ 猂 GB (232,230,230) and press "Alt+del" to fill the selection with the foreground color.

3. Repeat the above method, respectively, the tires, after tarpaulin, windshield and window, view mirror, front bezel, the path of the front bezel converted to a selection and filled with different colors. The effect is roughly as shown in the following illustration:



4. Now we have to operate on the details of the headlights, rearview mirrors and side windows of the car. Note that the opacity (opacity) of the two layers should be adjusted to around 30% after the rear mirrors and side windows are filled. The foreground color is then set to RGB (206,211,222) and the background color is (156,154,173) dragged from left to right using the linear gradient tool on the windshield and window layer. The adjusted effect is shown below. How about a little car smell? But now you can't take it away because we're going to add more details to the car.


(iv). The fourth step of production--the description of the detail part

This is the most important step in the whole work, and it takes more time, so it is necessary to be patient.

1. Headlight production:

A. The headlights were found to have sunken effect, so we double click on the front headlights layer to open the Layer Style dialog box. Select "Belvel and Emboss" to set "style" to pillow emboss, "depth" set to 1, "angle" to 120 degrees, click OK.

B. Give a texture to the headlights. In the front headlights layer, select the opaque selection (CTRL + click the layer), and then execute "flietr-distort->twirl", "Flietr->artistic->sponge", "flietr-> Artistic->plastic wrap "," Flietr->distort->ocean Ripple "" Flietr-distort->glass ", The glass texture of the headlights is revealed after adding a lot of filter effects.



2. Making of Wheels:

A. Fill the white gap between the tyre and the body with black.

B. The texture of the inner ring of the wheel is more complex, we use a relatively simple method that uses the rubber tool to erase the hollow part, so that the hollow part shows the black tire.



The attentive reader may find that I have stolen a lazy, the inner ring of the front wheel has been copied and deformed and put into the rear wheel. This is entirely because the upcoming Yankau in the mischief, hope that friends have time to make small adjustments, the effect may be better:
Next we put a dent in the center of the wheel, by drawing a circle in the middle of the wheel with the selection tool and pressing "ctrl+l" to copy the contents of the current selection into a new layer, and then we use the "Belvel and emboss" effect in this new layer to " Style "set for pillow emboss," depth "set to 1," angle "for 140 degrees, so that the center of the wheel has a sunken feeling.

Go to the front bezel layer, open the layer's transparent protection (lock transparent pixels), then set the foreground color to RGB (157,9,9), and the background color to RGB (217,106,105), and fill the layer with the linear gradient tool. Next, add two black blocks to the bezel, and we can use the pen tool to draw and populate,



4. The front baffle processing

Go to the front bezel layer and open the layer's through martingale; set the foreground color to RGB (170,10,11) and the background color to RGB (217,106,105), and fill the layer with the linear gradient tool. Next, add a rounded rectangle to this layer using the rounded rectangle in the tool.



5. Making far-light lamps

Use the Pen tool to depict the far light part as a path, then convert it to a selection for filling, there are two kinds of color, one is RGB (243,154,57), the other is RGB (232,229,229). Finally, open the Layer Style dialog box. Select the Belvel and Emboss item, set "style" to pillow emboss, "depth" to 81%, and "angle" to 143 degrees.

6. After processing view mirror

Open the Layer Style dialog box for the view mirror layer. Select the Belvel and Emboss item, set "style" to "inner bevel", and "depth" set to 31%.

So the basic model of the car has been completed (pictured below), and then we'll add the time effect and some body lines to it.


(v) The fifth step of production-the final modification

The body surface also has some lines and the illumination effect is we cannot neglect, plus them after the whole piece will be more endowed with the texture, is more full.

1. Add lines to the body surface. Use the Pen tool to outline the surface curve on the body, and then set the foreground color to crimson, using the Stroke Path command and selecting the brush to stroke the curve. In view of the actual effect of these lines are not the same brightness, light than the backlight slightly brighter, so we also have their opacity to be appropriate adjustments to meet the actual effect.



2. Use brush tool to produce shading effect.

This step is entirely manual work, we must take out 200% careful to Yo!! The method is as follows--

Description of the light part: On the brush's options bar, specify [MODEL] as "normal", adjust the brush color to white, the bright area with the tool depicted. It should be noted that in order to achieve the best results, the brush size and pressure should be adjusted in a timely manner (pressure), so that the painted light will be more gentle and smooth.

Description of the dark part: On the brush's options bar, specify [MODEL] as "multiply", and adjust the pressure value to about 10. The most important thing is don't forget to change the color to black, hehe.
