On July 15, May 24, Fedora 15 was released as scheduled. How can we use the latest Fedora faster? If you use an iso upgrade, you must wait a few hours.

For those with Fedora installed on the machine, the preupgrade command can get the latest fedora version faster and more conveniently.

Step 1: Obtain the root permission and update the software source.

Step 2 of su-yum update: Install the preupgrade package.

Yum install preupgrade step 3, run.

After preupgrade, the system will pop up a window asking the user to select the Fedora version number to be obtained. Select Fedora 15 and click apply. The system automatically downloads and installs related packages.

PS: to upgrade the system using preupgrade, ensure that/boot has a free space of more than MB.
