This tutorial describes how to use the NetBeans IDE 6.5 and JSF 1.2 (Woodstock) components to build WEB applications that can create, retrieve, update, and delete database rows. The application provides a master data Drop-down list and a synchronized details table. Users of the application can add, update, and delete records in the details table from the associated database.
The concepts used in this tutorial are described in a more basic tutorial. If you don't have a basic understanding of the IDE and its design components, read some introductory tutorials, such as getting started with visual Web JSF application development, and accessing databases using data-binding components.
