Managed agents: These managed devices reside. The processing entities that work with network management are called managed agents. This is abstract. Network Management Protocol: rules.

Another note is that SNMP collects data in two ways: polling and self-trapping. Round Robin is a periodic query. When a device encounters a problem, data is automatically sent to the network management workstation. When configuring round robin, SNMP is sent by the port 161 of the managed proxy. Therefore, you only need to configure SNMP on the managed proxy, and the self-contained port 162 is used for sending and receiving, therefore, SNMP must be configured on both sides.
