Use valuetype for C # function parameters

Source: Internet
Author: User

Today, I want to write a function that processes different data types, such as int and float. But I don't want to overload multiple functions. So I found some information and found out valuetype.

My usual writing method.

Public void func (ref string a, int I)

{

A = I. toString ();

}

Public void func (ref string a, float I)

{

A = I. toString ();

}

Use valuetype

Public void func (ref string a, valuetype I)

{

A = I. toString ();

}

The example does not mean anything. It just describes the usage. In addition, string is not in valuetype
