Use Vista Resource Manager

After using vista for a period of time, the resource manager changes a lot. The advanced settings are as follows:

 

1. Check the folder level

Open the "Navigation Pane" in the "organization> layout" submenu of the resource manager and select the toolbar to display the directory tree of various objects. When the folder structure is complex, it is sometimes difficult to see the level of the two folders. To do this, open the tab, deselect the show simple folder view option in the Navigation Pane, close the dialog box, and restart the resource manager. Open the hard disk partition or folder in the Navigation Pane. You can see that the folder button of the same level is located on a dotted line, which makes the difference easier.

2. You will know the property region.

We only need to select "display prompt information when the mouse points to the folder and desktop items" and "display file size information in the folder prompt" on the tab ", when you point to a folder or file in the right pane of the resource manager, you can see the creation date, size, and other information in the pop-up prompt box.

 

However, you still do not know how to quickly switch the folder option of the original xp. Vista may not consider this issue.

Obviously, to view files, you must install the corresponding viewing tool. Vista only opens the tool in this area, rather than directly viewing files. In addition, if you want to view the file content better, this area requires a large space. If you do not have a large screen display, you may find it difficult.
