Working environment for Ubuntu, Class Linux system. The EXE file cannot be installed directly. Can be installed with wine, but not all EXE software under Windows
Can be installed using wine.
There are two ways to install wine on Ubuntu. You can compile your own local source code, you can also execute commands in the terminal "sudo apt-get install wine",
Automatically download and install wine from the configured software source.
After the installation is complete, you can set the Windows version to Windows XP in the configuration options.
Below we will use wine to try to install a software for code comparison under Windows beyond Compare
Place beyond compare EXE files under the user's home folder
Open Terminal: Enter wine Beyond_compare.exe carriage return
