The following procedures are described:
1. Prepare Microsoft Fonts. You can directly from the Windows system to copy the required fonts, if you just want to add a few common Chinese characters in Ubuntu, you can go to my Baidu cloud disk download: Microsoft Four kinds of commonly used Chinese characters font. Here I only choose the song body, Fangsong, italics and boldface four kinds of fonts. Extract the font files to the local hard drive, for example in/mydata/fonts/micro_fonts/.
2. Copy the font to the System font folder (/usr/share/fonts/). Execute the following command in the terminal:
cp -r /mydata/fonts/micro_fonts/ /usr/share/fonts/
Modify Permissions:
sudo chmod u+rwx /usr/share/fonts/micro_fonts/*
3. Create font cache. execute the following command in turn:
