Using mysqld back to start MySQL no response

Using mysqld to start MySQL is not responding.
I read that I used the mysqld command to start MySQL. I enter the bin directory, and then enter Mysqld, and then press ENTER, the cursor jumps to the next line and then does not respond, ask what is this? I am win 7.mysql 5.5.8
