Using the Tmux tool for Linux command line columns

Introduced

Installation

You only need one line of command

apt install tmux -y

Run

Execute tmux on the command line and you can see some "changes" in the command line interface.

How to use

1: Press Ctrl+b before all operations (shortcut key for short)
2: All action objects are the command line (green squares) on which the "Focus" is located:

Sub-columns: Vertical points:

Press the shortcut key to release, then quickly press the "%" key (this key, you may need to follow the shift along with the press, you should know the reason ...)

Transverse points:

Press the shortcut key and release, then press the double quotation mark "key (remember to press with shift)

To shift the focus to another section:

Press the shortcut key to release, with the direction key control

resizing panes:

Press the shortcut key and just release B, hold down CTRL, then use the arrow keys to resize

Quickly switch panes

Close the specified pane

Execute exit in the pane

Exit the entire Tmux

Press the shortcut key to release, press "&" (with Shift bar ~)

Multi-Window Mode

Toggle Page
