Use Xshell to view the Tomcat real-time log, the Chinese garbled, but the log file in Chinese is not garbled, there may be two reasons, the system may not be set i18n support Chinese, or Xshell encoding format does not support Chinese, the solution is as follows:

1. Configuring i18n System files

vi/etc/sysconfig/i18n
Configuration content is as follows
Lang= "ZH_CN. GB18030 "  language=" ZH_CN. Gb18030:zh_cn. GB2312:ZH_CN "  supported=" ZH_CN. GB18030:zh_CN:zh:en_US. Utf-8:en_us:en "  sysfont=" Lat0-sun16 "

2. Restart the system
Reboot


3. If garbled, set the encoding format of the Xshell

File--properties--terminal translation Option encoding: Select UTF-8
