Vb. NET Development PDA Environment construction

I developed the application, did not involve the bottom ah, burning board ah and so on, I have never been in contact with PDA and vb.net, everything is now learning to sell. OK, release.

1. Preparation

My system is win7,32 bit.

A) If you have a PDA, simply plug in a computer, auto-search driver, and automatically install a Windows Mobile Device center software, showing that your PDA is connected to the computer.

b) If you don't have a PDA, it's easier to run and choose the right simulator.

2, VS2008 Chinese version

To do PDA application, can only use VS2008 or the previous version, VS2010 has not been supported.

I use the vb.net development, when let C # and so also can. Create a new Smart Device project, and the next step is to generate a PDA project. F5 can be run. If you don't have a PDA, you can only run the project on the virtual machine by selecting WindowsCE device in the Devices toolbar.

3, a PDA, System wince 6.0
In development, I use the PDA directly to develop, basically did not use the simulator.

The main problem with the simulator is

A) Configure the network connection is troublesome, I also did not engage, when need to search again

b) can configure a shared folder, convenient file copy, but every time if you shut down the virtual machine without choosing to save the device state, the next time you turn on the emulator to reconfigure, very troublesome, did not find a good solution.
