Power operator (^)

Calculates the exponent of the number of the second party.

result = number^exponent

Parameters

Result

Any numeric variable.

Number

An arbitrary numeric expression.

Exponent

An arbitrary numeric expression.

Description

The number argument can be negative only if the exponent argument is an integer. If there is more than one exponential operation in a single expression, the ^ operator executes in left-to-right order.

If number or exponent is a null expression, the result value is also null.
