Run the msinfo32 command in the C:/program files/common files/Microsoft shared/msinfo directory:
C:/program files/common files/Microsoft shared/msinfo> msinfo32/report D:/cmpinfo.txt/Categories + systemsummary

Go to disk D and use type to view the generated file
D:/> type cmpinfo.txt
