There are many things worth learning about connecting large users to the network. Here we will mainly introduce the development trend of the Internet access for large users. Large User Access refers to the edge network layer from a large user station to a carrier's data center. With the development of the network scale, the concept of large users is no longer limited to party, government, military, finance, transportation, and other enterprises and groups, it also includes places such as large and medium-sized enterprises, commercial chain stores, writing buildings, Smart Communities, mobility and hot spots. They are the most active groups in information and communication needs, it is the most valuable user in the operator's user system.

End users have always been the focus of competition for various operators, and the competition for core users is primarily dependent on penetrating into the edge access networks of large users. Because of the large scale of the network, the number of network elements far exceeds the core network, reducing the network construction and operation costs is a key factor. Network Construction is gradually shifting from focusing on "technology" to focusing on "Business Needs" to focusing on "Network adaptability and survivability. Based on years of service experience in accessing the network for large users, Greenwell Corporation, adhering to its integrated circuit design and software development strength, has launched a multi-service leased line access function for large users, MSAP, a dedicated line access platform for the point-to-point aggregation function of the Multi-star network.

I. Development Trend of Internet access for large users

At present, there is no unified plan for access networks for large users. The development varies with projects and naturally grows, leading to the existence of a large number of single business networks based on various technologies, multiple network topologies and multiple isolated islands cannot effectively implement network management. With the development of the economy, the scope of large users is constantly expanding, and access points are gradually changing. In the face of endless and changing access points, the star network mode can better adapt to the development and survivability of the access network for large users. It can be said that it is the mainstream way for large users to access the network; however, ring network access retains a certain share for specific user groups. In addition to the ever-decreasing cost, the development trend of network access for large users has the following features:

Comprehensive Business Access

With the rapid development of Internet/Intranet, the rapidly growing data business has become a dominant trend in the same way as the voice business. Most big users require both voice and data services, and specific users still need image services. Although the networks on the backbone layer and convergence layer are still being independently developed and optimized separately, the separation of the network on the access layer will lead to a series of disadvantages such as high access costs and unsuitable management and maintenance, therefore, multi-business integration of large users with a unified platform is the future development trend.

Unified Management and Maintenance

The core of competition among telecom operators is how to improve the satisfaction of large users and further attract more users. An operational and maintenance management system can detect problems early, shorten troubleshooting time, and meet the needs of applications of large users to the maximum extent. In the O & M system, the traditional maintenance mode of independent maintenance of their respective service networks based on the integration trend of large user access is unable to meet the needs of business development. Only the unified management of multiple businesses can meet the requirements of big users for one-stop procurement and unified maintenance.

Large user access devices are characterized by multiple locations, scattered locations, and harsh working environments, the network management system is required to provide network management, remote version loading, Performance Statistics, unified Narrow-Band testing, and remote monitoring functions for centralized or hierarchical domain-based network management, it also provides functions such as centralized maintenance, fault management, performance management, and security management of the access network element to achieve "maintenance-free ". Different from the management of backbone networks, access management for large users requires not only device-level network management, but also user-based humanized management, such as business group management for different users, user relationship management.

Support SLA services of different levels

Different users have different requirements on their business levels. Financial users may need to ensure smooth business for 24 hours. For commercial buildings and chain stores, they only need to be absolutely smooth during working hours, you can do your best at other times. Carriers can provide personalized services with different technologies and prices according to different service requirements. EDGE networks are the demarcation points of operator networks and big user networks. Accurate Fault Locating, responsibility separation, and rapid fault recovery are all potential application requirements for large users. SLA refers to a personalized service agreement signed between a telecommunications company and a user or service provider. This Protocol regulates the service level and quality provided by service providers, and clarifies the monitoring points, detection methods, and detection content of service indicators. The services promised in specific requirements include availability, latency, packet loss rate, connection rate, fault and alarm recovery time, and service response time.

From the SLA content, it is mainly reflected in the quantification of service indicators. All these indicators require basic data at the bottom layer of the network device. Therefore, from the perspective of the device, a wide range of performance indicator reports are required, such as the error code second (ES) and the severe error second (SES, test statistics on the BES error code in the background code second.

II. Introduction to MSAP leased line platform for large users

Greenwell MSAP (Multi-service Access Platform) Big user Multi-industry Access Platform, including MSAP-E3600 and MSAP-E3300 two series. MSAP-E3600 optical fiber access platform, to provide important users with all optical fiber access. In addition to providing TDM optical fiber access, MSAP-E3300 also provides a variety of protocol converter series access, optical fiber transceiver series access, equipment less MSAP-E3600, suitable for small users.

1. MSAP-E3600 big user multi-business access leased line platform

MSAP-E3600 is a local model launched for large users to access the star network topology. This device uses the recently developed GW7980 chip as the core, and uses the time-division multiplexing technology to reuse Ethernet and E1 services and then transmit them on a pair of optical fibers, it can ensure full-duplex transmission of Ethernet data and real-time transmission of E1 services. The device shape is shown in Figure 1:

MSAP-E3600 single equipment can provide up to 20 optical port access capabilities, to achieve the corresponding user's business access coverage, multiple devices cascade can meet larger business needs; mixed Transmission of E1 and ETH can be realized. The number of E1 instances is 1-16; the Ethernet interface can reach 100 Mbps; the bandwidth can be dynamically adjusted based on the network management; the SDH interface can be uplinked, smooth connection with the SDH network of the same game can be achieved to reduce a large number of E1 interconnected cables. The E1 channel code test module is embedded, and any E1 channel can be tested based on network management instructions; provides remote power failure indication to reduce unnecessary maintenance workload. The MSAP-E3600 remote device consists of two series: MSAP-E120 and MSAP-E1500. The MSAP-E120 can flexibly provide different E1 quantities based on application needs, and can be selected with 10 Base-T and V.35 interfaces. MSAP-E1500 provides E1 and Ethernet hybrid business access, in addition to E1 business flexible configuration, can provide line rate Ethernet business.

2. MSAP-E3300 big user access platform

MSAP-E3300 compared with the MSAP-E3600, for lower-layer users, the interface capacity is small, in order to pursue the high trust price ratio, is often a single interface access, such: single E1, single V.35, single 10Base-T, or a combination of the above single interfaces. The device is fully equipped with 14 slots and can be connected to a maximum of 14 users. The device shape is shown in figure 2.
