Change the TAP key unit

Vi/vim Editor By default, tap is relative to 8 spaces each time it is pressed.

(1) Temporary changes

After opening the file with VI, enter the following command:

: Set tabstop=4

Command interpretation: Change to the equivalent of four spaces.

(2) Permanent changes

That is, change the configuration file for Vi/vim.

Add the above command in the. vimrc file in the user directory, if you do not have the file, you can create the file and write to: settabstop=4, exit the save.

The number of tab space units in VI is permanently modified.
