The option to create a direct download link is not available in Google drive, but it can be saved locally by a small change in the link form. For example, a file link that is shared via Google drive is:
Https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID/edit?usp=sharing
If you change it to the modified version below and then open it through your browser, it will download the file directly:
Https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID
