• The current common home or small office network most commonly used is ADSL access, direct use of computer dial-up Internet connection as follows:

Important: If 3.2 does not open the page as described above, continue with the 3.3 step, or skip to step 4th.

3.3. If in IE browser input: http://192.168.1.1/basicsetting.htm, IE did not reflect or can not open the Web page, then:

4th-Step Basic Internet settings

Your network access may be ADSL dial-up, fixed IP or dynamic IP, please refer to the appropriate settings below to complete the basic Internet settings

4.1. Using ADSL dial-up Internet configuration mode

• The following is an example of ADSL broadband users in China Telecom, and the relevant information provided by telecom operators is as follows:

4.1.1. The first option "Do you need to log on to your Internet connection?", select Yes, Internet service provider to select other, type the broadband account number and password in the blank box after login and password, and then click Apply, as shown in the figure:

If you know your local DNS server (you can call your local ISP), you can select "Use the following DNS server" and fill it out.

4.1.2. When this page setting is updated, the wireless signal on the router panel is lit, indicating that the wireless transceiver function is turned on.

4.1.3. Open a new Web page, try to access the Internet, and normally you can surf the internet! Finally, click the "Exit Login" at the bottom left to exit the Admin interface:

4.2. Use fixed IP address to configure the way to the Internet

• Example: If the operator provides the relevant information as follows:

IP Address: 212.197.17.56

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway Address: 212.197.17.254

Primary Domain Name server: 202.96.128.68

From the domain name server: 202.96.128.69

4.2.1. The first option "Do you need to log on to your Internet connection?" Select "No", "Internet IP Address" Select "Use static IP address", "Domain Name server (DNS) address" Select "Use the following DNS server", type information such as IP address, subnet, and then click "Apply" the following figure:

4.2.2. After clicking "Exit Login", close the admin window.

4.3. Use the dynamic IP address to the network configuration way

• If you use the computer directly to the Internet, you do not need to provide user name and password, also do not have to set IP address, mask, gateway and other information, then you belong to this access mode, the basic Internet settings is very simple, as follows:

4.3.1. After you successfully log on to the basic Settings page of the WGR614V6 management interface, you do not need to make any changes, keep the default settings, and click "OK" directly.

4.3.2. However, if you have access to DNS information from your local ISP (service provider), select "Use the following DNS server" in the Domain Name server (DNS) address, and then fill in the 2 DNS server IP addresses. For example: 61.144.56.101 and 210.21.4.130, other configurations retain the default settings, then click "Apply". The selection is not necessarily filled out, but it is recommended to fill it out.

4.3.3. After the update of the wireless LED light, wireless transceiver function to open.

4.3.4. Click "Exit Login" to exit and close the admin window.
