Web Server Management Series: 9. Create a password and reset the disk

There are too many passwords to be recorded in the Internet era, and you may forget them accidentally. It would be very troublesome to forget the server password.

Windows Server 2008 provides us with the function of creating a password to reset the disk:

Click next:

Select the USB flash drive and click Next:

Enter the password of the current user and click Next:

The password reset disk is successfully created. Let's see what Windows Server 2008 writes to our USB flash drive:

The "Reset Password" button will appear when we enter the wrong password at login:

Click Reset Password ":

Click next:

Select the USB flash drive and click Next:

Enter the new password and click Next:
