Web Server Management Series: 9. Create a password reset disk

Internet times need to record the password is too much, accidentally may forget, if the server password forgotten will be a very troublesome thing.

Windows Server 2008 provides us with the ability to create a password reset disk:

Click Create password reset disk:

Click Next:

Select the USB flash drive and click Next:

Enter the current user's password and then click Next:

The password reset disk was created successfully, let's see what Windows Server 2008 wrote on our USB flash drive:

The password reset button will appear when we sign in at the wrong time:

We click on "Reset Password":

Click Next:

Select the USB flash drive and click Next:

Enter your new password and click Next:

Password reset succeeded.
