Weight loss for Win7 system disk

Win7 C:\windows\installer folder has 2.3G of giant, to give C drive to lose weight will be the axe.

Move all files in this folder to the mobile hard drive, the path is K:\wininst

EXECUTE AS Administrator

MKLINK/D C:\Windows\Installer K:\wininst

This keeps the C-drive file system and reduces the Installer folder's use of the system disk.

Why not delete this folder directly?

The folder is the cache folder for the Windows Installer service, which prevents the MSI application from installing the cached data file for the package, and the more programs that are installed in the MSI installation format in the system, the larger the volume is.　　If you delete the cached data for an application, you must reinstall the program in order to fix the problem when the application is having problems with file or configuration information corruption.
