The study found that women are most likely to show a welcome personality, which may be one reason for the gender income gap.

Popular employees are more likely to succeed in team work, but have three negative effects on their personal performance.

The study found that ' first of all, helping others may reduce individual productivity, and secondly, a popular employee may not be able to make real progress when asking for a raise. ' Again, popular employees may enter less stable, less-paid jobs. ’

Ana Nuevo-chiquero of Shelfid University read the results of the study at the annual meeting of the 2015 Royal Economic Society in Manchester, a joint study with Australian and Spanish academics.

They analyzed the individual quality and level of work of New South Wales, State Of University students in laboratory conditions, and also analyzed a large number of academic reports on individual quality and remuneration.

The study found that while conscientious and emotionally stable employees earn more, they can jeopardize their careers if they are too outspoken.
