When I started designing a website, I usually made it backwards. I first designed the most subtle part of the station: a page for story description or a search result page. Then I began designing pages that contain these tiny parts: indexes or areas in a page set. The next step is the homepage.
The reason for this is that each page must have the appropriate content that is expected to be added. If the homepage expresses one thing, but the expanded pages describe other content, it will mislead users.

No matter what the website is, it is the first task to be completed. If you ignore it, it means you leave the visitor in chaos.

What a new visitor will do first is to get this answer from an unfamiliar website. If the site fails to complete this task within a few seconds, it will make the visitor speechless (that is, this "...... "), and then leave and will not go back to the access. What do you do when someone makes you feel like an idiot? Do you want to stick to this person again?

This is all about making a good first impression.

Don't be embarrassed to use the old words: "Who are we, what are we about ." Connect to some more nagging pages or browsing pages. In this way, people who need such help will go there. Note that the text you use is important to readers.

Of course, avoid being too arrogant. It makes your words important. But the explanation must appear at the top of the page-this is an important way to get regular customers.

Before a company tries to do new things, some things are particularly important. Google does not have to add any description on the home page because almost everyone uses it. But this is only an exception. If you are doing something new, sometimes you just need to make a simple explanation. For example, flock is a free and open-source web browser.

If the person who visits your site for the first time cannot understand what the site is like within three seconds on the homepage, you will fail to get the first target. Only people know what the site is.

Objective 2: do not allow visitors to go the same way over and over again

The second goal is to prepare those who already know what they are doing. Just like you, these users are the site's regular customers.

There is a good technology to achieve the first two goals-to make part of the page dynamic. This area displays explanations to new visitors. Once a user logs in or replaces it with other information.
