1. If you have a very good relationship with the customer and trust each other, and there are no other competitors, You can first conduct a detailed Demand Survey, wait until the demand scope is clear, then determine the budget, and sign the contract. In this mode, the business process is not synchronized with the project management process. When the requirement investigation is started, the project management starts. The business process starts only before and after the contract is signed. This mode facilitates relatively accurate budgeting. If possible, try to adopt this mode. The disadvantage is that once the customer repents, we will pay a lot in vain. In addition, it is necessary to prevent some fraudulent customers from turning to other companies for development with the demand statement you have worked hard to develop.
2. If the customer relationship is normal or there are other competitors who are not sure enough to get the list, a simple requirement investigation will be conducted first. Generally, the time will not exceed two days, then, design the scheme and budget and negotiate with the user. We generally state the handling method of the change request in the contract. The specific terms are as follows:
(1) The overall requirements of this project are the main framework agreed by both parties on the project content in Article 1 (preliminary design plan) of this agreement.
(2) The project shall be based on the main framework for detailed requirement investigation and analysis. The project shall not be detached from or exceed the framework unless agreed by both parties through negotiation.
(3) The demand specification arising from a detailed demand investigation must be signed and approved by both parties. As a detailed description and supplement to article 1 of this Agreement, it shall have the same legal force as this agreement.
(4) after both parties sign and approve the demand statement, If Party A changes its demand, it must submit a change request to Party B in writing (demand change proposal, after mutual agreement, both parties sign and approve the change to take effect.
(5) If the demand change involves a change in costs, the development costs should be adjusted in the form of a supplementary agreement.
(6) After both parties sign and approve the demand statement, Party B has the right to reject Party A's request for demand change if the fee remains unchanged and the implementation is indeed difficult.

Of course, more importantly, by communicating with the customer, the customer can truly accept this agreement! However, even if the customer is reluctant to accept it, as long as he signs the contract, we will take the initiative at least legally. Once there is a serious divergence in demand changes, the lawsuit will be held, we will not be too passive.
