When using vim, press Ctrl + S. What should I do?

Source: Internet

I used to use the editor in windows. Today I used vim and accidentally pressed Ctrl + S. As a result, VIM does not work when I press any key. in the past, we also encountered this problem. The solution was to directly shut down the SSH client software, re-connect and re-open the file.

Today, I checked it on Google and found that pressing CTRL + q directly solved the problem.

Cause: Ctrl + s indicates that the output is stopped to the terminal; Ctrl + q indicates that the output is restored to the terminal.
