NTFS for Mac is an NTFS-formatted partition that allows you to read and write Windows correctly under Mac systems. What are the considerations for using NTFS for Mac ?
1. Modifying NTFS parameters
We mentioned that this driver provides advanced support for the NTFS file system, so you can:
? Initiate access to all new creation files/folders on the desired NTFS partition, set which users or groups can access specific files and folders, and what can be done with their content (read in/write/execute);
? Compress all newly created files/folders on the required NTFS file to conserve hard disk space (you may find some impact on the performance of the archive when you are working on it);
? Cancels the last access time record for all files/folders on the NTFS partition you want to use to improve the performance of your hard disk.

2. Set the NTFS volume to the Startup disk
After the disk is installed, MAC OS X's Startup disk (the tool used to set up the active operating system) no longer identifies the Windows system where the installation and Boot Battalion are installed. This is an internal problem with Mac OS X, so we can't change this. As an option, you can select the Windows volume on the left side of the canvas and click Set to start at the next boot.
3. Recovery driver
You can restore the drive by selecting the corresponding button at the bottom of the window. If this is the case, the default driver for Mac OS x (read-only) will be used to load the NTFS partition.

Note: Only users who provide an administrator password can modify the driver to suit their preferences. NTFS for Mac Chinese official website http://www.ntfsformac.cn/
