Why is list-style-type:none; not functioning?

Source: Internet
Author: User
I learn other people's writing, directly in the front of the CSS, can not work under Firefox. IE does not have to and will not appear dot ~

<ul id= "Navlist" >  <li> Home </li>  <li> Introduction </li></ul>

Css
Style One

Ul{list-style-type:none;} #navlist li{float:left;padding:55px 13px 0 0;}

Style Two

#navlist li{float:left;padding:55px 13px 0 0;list-style-type:none;}

"Style One" will still appear in the list dot under ff. "Style two" will not appear ~ depressed. Why would anyone else? ~~~~~

Try this:

Ul#navlist{list-style-type:none;}

My ff has no dots.

FF,IE6,IE7,IE8 Normal
