William Black and his poems
Author: Zhang guiquan
Black is one of my favorite modern western poets. his poems lack a bit of beauty and beauty, but they contain intriguing philosophical thoughts. it is enough to let many young people fall for it. I am no exception. I like black's Poetry and the beauty of the implicit philosophy. as we approached black, we found many questions that were difficult to think about.
To see the world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower;
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
"From a grain of sand to a world, from a wild flower to a heaven; put infinite in your hands, put the eternal in a moment. "This is Black's creed of life. from this we can see the philosophical qualities and the poet's life height. it can be described as "seeing a world in a grain of millet ".
Black is the most challenging and original poet in English education, and one of the most rare and unique outstanding figures. he claims that people's "spiritual life" should be rich and diverse, free from any constraints, while "physical life" is very simple, and subject to secular restrictions. others must break away from all limitations, liberate and strengthen people's reasonable desires, in order to reach the most dynamic and energetic state. black is also one of the modern poets who relish and respect it.
Let's take a look at this little poem:
The sick rose
O rose, thou (you) Art (are) sick.
The invisible worm
That flies in the night
In the howing storm
Has found out thy (they) Bed
Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
Dose thy life destroy.
