Purchased a new SSD and installed dual systems with previous HDD drives: Win10 and mint
Ssd:win10 sdb1 sdb2 sdb3 sda2
Hdd:mint sda1
1. Installation process:
The first win10 on the C drive (SDB1), SDB2 and SDB3 are the NTFS format logical disks.
And the Mint again sda1.
There are three selection bars in the reboot of the installation:
1) Mint Main program
2) Mint daemon, can enter single user mode
3) Windows Boot Manager mode
2. Issues that arise:
1) boot only mint, select Windows Boot Manager mode Startup Repair is also invalid
2) The boot cannot enter the PE
3) boot does not enter BIOS
3. Solution
First enter the Mint system using root permissions in the terminal input UPDATE-GRUB2 flush Grub, will find the Windows startup EFI file. Reboot into Windows Boot Manager mode mode, select Advanced Settings--(Here you forget what you call the option, just find the button to enter Safe mode, select it into the installation mode)--from Safe mode to exit normally.
The result of this operation restart is:
1) Select the Mint main program to enter the main program
2) Select Windows Boot Manager mode to enter Windows 10
(The above content is for their own situation, please check your own situation to make appropriate adjustments)
WIN10 and Linux Mint Dual systems can only enter the Mint solution
