01 Turn off homegroup
Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Services –homegroup Listener and HomeGroup provider disabled.
02 Turn off disk defragmentation, automatic maintenance Scheduled Tasks
Check Disk C-Properties – tools – Optimize and defragment drives – Optimize – Change settings – deselect run on a schedule.
03 Close Windows Defender (subject to availability)
Control Panel – Windows defender– Settings – Enforce protection – remove tick and admin – Enable Windows defender– to remove the tick.
Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Services – Windows Defender service disabled.
04 Close Windows Search
Control Panel – Administrative Tools – services – Windows search disabled.
05 Set up the Superfetch service.
Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Service –superfetch – Startup type – Automatic (delayed start).
06 Cleaning up the Windows.old folder
C-Drive – Right--Properties-Disk Cleanup-Select the previous Windows installation check box – OK cleanup.
07 Setting up automatic Login
win+r– Enter netplwiz-to cancel the use of the computer must enter the user name and password options – and then double-click the account that requires automatic login – Enter your password.
08 Close IPv6
Network Sharing Center – Network Connection – Ethernet – Properties – cancels IPv6.
09 Turn off effects
System Properties – Advanced-performance-settings – visuals-turns off fade-out fades.
10 Turning off virtual memory
System Properties – Advanced-performance-settings, select "Advanced", click "Change" in virtual memory, tick "Automatically manage paging file size for drive", click "No paging File" below, click "Settings" and "OK".
