win8.1 Troubleshooting ORACLE10 Installation Issues

Description : installs the oracle of the level . Based on two reasons : 1.x64 installation does not have XP compatibility mode , more trouble 2.pl/sql is also a three-bit program , although x64 Oracle Add-on patches can also be used later , but only for development use , no need to toss .

Installation Steps :

1. download Oracle 10g, address : Http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/oracle10g/10201/10201_database_ Win32.zip, directly copied to the Thunderbolt for download

2. Unzip The file, modify The configuration, modify the database\stage\prereq\db\refhost.xml

and add the following

2.3. Right-click setup.exe, Properties- --compatibility--run this program in compatibility mode Windows XP( service Pack 3), run as Administrator.
