Win8.1Oracle11g Client installation

The installation is successful. Databases and clients are on different machines. Before installation, navigate to the following directory on the server where the Oracle database is installed. Change the localhost in listener. ora and tnsnames. ora to the IP address of the machine. I set it to 192.168.1.102 and then start to install the Oracle client.

Change the localhost in listener. ora and tnsnames. ora to the IP address of the machine.

Then install the Oracle client

Select custom to customize the installed components.

Deselect the Oracle Scheduler Agent component.

By 80%, the following configuration program is run. (Generally, after the current interface is hidden, do not be dumb on the current interface)

Host Name, preferably an IP address.

Change the logon password to the username and password of the Oracle database.

So far, the client configuration is complete.
