There are many ways to install the system, generally divided into two types: one is the original ISO system, and the other is the way to install the GHO system. The two methods can be combined in many ways, as shown below.

Original ISO Image System

1. System CD
2. For NT6 HDD, extract the original system to the hard disk root directory other than drive C (recommended)
3. Use WinNTSetup in WindPE and mount the system image to the virtual optical drive (recommended) in PE)
4. Use UltraIOS to write the system image to the USB flash drive and start the USB flash drive system (recommended)

If you want to install the original system, you can use the above four methods. Each method has its own characteristics, which I will not talk about here. I do not recommend these methods because they are too troublesome and time-consuming. Installing system patches, drivers, and common software is troublesome.

GHO or WIM Image System

1. With "one-click Ghost" or other GHOST Software, the Ghost kernel can be installed in the same way.
2. Use the "WimTool" tool to install the WIM System
3. Using "SGI Image president" or "ImageX", they can support both Ghost and WIM. (Strongly recommended)

We strongly recommend that you use "SGI Image president" or "ImageX" to reinstall the system. "SGI Image president" does not need to enter the PE system, while "ImageX" can only be used in PE.

Today, I will give you a very simple method to reinstall the system. You only need to click the mouse to complete the entire system reinstallation process. During the reinstallation process, no human guard is required to automatically complete all installation tasks, the entire process is more than 10 minutes, which is very convenient. It is also suitable for remote control and reinstallation of the system.

That is, the SGI Image President + GHO solution is used. (There is a premise that the computer that needs to reinstall the system must be able to boot)

Run the SGI Image president to remove the downloaded GHO system from drive C and search for the downloaded GHO system automatically. Select "restart after execution" in the lower left corner, and click "execute" in the lower right corner. You don't need to do anything for the rest, just wait for the system to be reinstalled, this method is very simple.
