window2008 R2 Load Balancing

Two servers win2008 R2, iis7.5 IP address 192.168.5.16, 192.168.5.18 virtual IP 192.168.5.30

Setup process:

1. Install the Load Balancer module on both servers

2. Set up two servers as static IP.

3. Choose a server to enter the Load Balancer Manager and create a new cluster.  First fill in the current server IP, the next step after connecting, fill in the virtual IP, as the cluster IP. The following steps do not say, many online.

4. When finished, right-click to join another server.

5. After the establishment, in the IP attribute can see two servers will have two IP addresses, enter ipconfig at the command line, you will see IPv4 has two IP.

6. The cluster can be accessed through the virtual IP at this time, whether it is a remote Desktop or an IIS site, access is smooth.

It is important that the IP is not fixed when setting up the IIS site.
