Windows 7 does not have "send to Desktop shortcuts"

Step 1: under the "View" tab of "Folder Options", select "Folder Options"
"Show all files and folders", remove the option before "Hide extensions of known file types"
(The extension of known file types must be displayed ).

Step 2: Find the path to "send to desktop shortcut" in the context menu of the Vista system:
"C:/user name/Appdata/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/sendto/". If no sendto folder exists, create one.

Step 3: Right-click the blank area of the preceding folder and create a new TXT document.
In the window, a new text file named ". txt" is displayed ".
Step 4: Rename the newly created notebook file .txt to "desktop shortcut. Desktop link ".
"Changing the file extension may make the file unavailable. Are you sure you want to change it ?" Dialog box,
Click "yes ".

After completing the preceding operations, the "send to desktop shortcut" menu in the right-click menu will be retrieved again.
