1. View status
In Windows 8 Metro App, we can process three view states: full screen, snapped, and filled.
Full screen is the default state of the Metro App, while the status of snapped and fill views can only be displayed on a screen with a horizontal resolution of 1366 pixels or higher. Because the width of the snapped view is 320 pixels, it can be placed on the left or right of the screen. The remaining 1046 pixels are allocated to the split line (22 pixels) and fill views respectively. The horizontal pixels of the fill view must be 1024 or higher.
As shown in the following three figures:
Full screen)
Snapped (the application occupies only a small part of the screen)
Fill (the application occupies the remaining area of the snapped width)
In this way, you can use two applications at the same time. As a developer, you need to provide the corresponding layout and user response to meet the three view states.
Next I will program and control my programs based on the changes in view status to adapt to the corresponding layout and user response.
